Warranty conditions
Depro Profiles, manufacturer of the Maëstro Panel product range, is the first to gives customers a 10–15 year warranty, depending on the product line!
The warranty period shall commence on the date specified on the invoice for the panels. Only the person to whom the invoice is addressed can make a claim under the warranty. Consequently, it is essential that you are able to produce a valid invoice in order to make a claim for a payment under the warranty. The product guarantee relates solely to hidden and recognised material defects. Defects can only be accepted in the event that installation and maintenance has been carried out according to the
Maëstro Panel instructions. These instructions can be found on the respective product. The installation and maintenance must be performed using
Maëstro Panel accessories and maintenance products. As is custom, any used materials shall be considered as having been accepted. Panels with visible defects must not be used under any circumstances. The installation of such panels shall render the warranty invalid. Panels exhibiting visible defects must be returned to the distributor within 14 days of purchase, at which point they shall be replaced. Defects not caused by the manufacturer, such as scratches, impact damage, water damage, consequential loss and damages as a result of incorrect use or maintenance, are not covered by the warranty. Defects that qualify for coverage under our warranty must be reported to the Maëstro Panel distributor in writing, within 14 days of said defects being identified, and must be included in a comprehensive dossier, containing a clear copy of the purchase invoice, photos and a description of the problem. Should the claim be covered by the warranty, Depro Profiles will, at its discretion, either repair the faulty panels free of charge, or identical or equivalent materials, within the limitations of the range of products available at that time, will be supplied as a replacement for the material deemed faulty.
All other forms of compensation, incidental damages and reimbursement of installation costs are excluded. The costs for the removal and replacement of the materials are borne by the purchaser. Degradation of colour is considered normal with the passage of time. In the event that a complaint is declared inadmissible, Depro Profiles reserves the right to invoice the originator of the complaint for any costs incurred. This a declining warranty, meaning that depending on the type of warranty, the value of the payment decreases annually by 1/10 or 1/15 of the invoice amount.
The fact that any stipulation within these warranty provisions proves to be invalid or unenforceable, bears no influence on the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. The invalidity or unenforceability of a provision is limited to the invalid or unenforceable aspect of the provision in question.
